Dr. Dianne Dabney
Title: Lead Pastor and Founder
I am dedicated to serving our congregation and community through the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I have been married to my husband Arthur Dabney for 47 years and we have two daughters together. I gave my life to Christ and was filled with The Holy Ghost at the age of 19 years old. I have now been serving in ministry for over 37 years and am active in several rolls including evangelism, outreach, counseling, prison ministry, television ministry, assistant pastor, and now lead pastor. I am passionate about teaching the unadulterated word of God and Biblical truths. God has called me to share the gospel and to build and equip leaders. I am also a clinical mental health counselor LPC, holding a Masters of Clinical Mental Health NCC and a Doctorate of Theology. Arthur Dabney
Title: Elder
Elder Arthur Dabney is the husband of Pastor Dianne Dabney, they have been married for 47 years. He is a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather. He was born in Garwood, Texas. He received his license to minister the gospel in 2012 from his father in the gospel Bishop R.A. Wauls, the founder of True Holiness Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ.
Elder Arthur Dabney is a Vietnam war veteran holding a purple heart medal amongst many others. He has a passion for sharing his testimony of the many miracles God did for him while in the Vietnam war. He is excited to share of the goodness of Jesus and the importance of being baptized in the name of Jesus and in the Holy Ghost.
Whitney Dabney
Title: Pastor
Whitney is an ordained Pastor at LNTW where she has faithfully served since it's inception in 2014 under the leadership/mentorship of her mother Pastor Dianne Dabney. She gave her life to Christ at just 2 years old and has a passion for serving others and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has been preaching the word of God for almost 2 years and has served in many roles including intercessory prayer ministry, sunday school teacher, worship leader, Bible study teacher, visual/media ministry, and many other roles. As a millennial leader, she knows she is called to reach this generation and build bridges between generations to help people grow in their understanding of who Jesus is and teach the Bible. Pastor Whitney is excited to help win souls to Jesus, lead people to salvation and build the Kingdom of God.
Schandra Lewis
Title: Elder
Elder Schandra Lewis is a devoted member of Life N The Word Church, where she has faithfully served since its inception in 2014 under the leadership of Pastor Dianne Dabney. From the very start, Schandra has dedicated herself to the spiritual growth of the church, community and to the advancement of God’s Kingdom. In 2022, she was ordained as an Elder, stepping into a higher level of leadership and responsibility within the ministry. She serves in every capacity needed, approaching each assignment with humility, compassion, and integrity. Elder Lewis has been married to Richard Lewis for 35 years, and together they share two children, as well as two cherished grandchildren. Her heart for ministry is deeply rooted in her love for Christ and her desire to see lives transformed by His power. She places her complete trust in God’s direction, drawing strength and guidance from one of her favorite scriptures, Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Patricia Watson
Title: Doctor/Minister
Dr. Patricia Watson spent 30 years of her life as a dedicated social worker. She spent 14 years serving in prison ministry and 16 years as an assistant pastor. Dr. Watson has been a part of Life N The Word church for the past 13 years serving as a minister of the gospel, teacher of the Bible and administrator. Dr. Watson holds a Bachelors of Social Work, a Masters of Divinity, Doctorate of Ministry, and a Ph.D of Christian Counseling. She believes that you never stop learning and growing in Christ, no matter your age. Dr. Watson has a passion for helping believers grow in their calling and leading others into a deeper understanding of their spiritual purpose. She stands firmly as an intercessor prayer warrior and is a witness of God's many miracles as she is a living example herself!
Rosalind Lawson
Title: Sunday School Teacher (Children)
Sister Rosalind Lawson serves as the Children's Sunday School teacher at
Life N The Word Church, guiding the vision of the church by passionately teaching children the word of God and fostering an early relationship with Jesus Christ. Rosalind has served in the children's ministry as a Drill Team instructor, Awana leader teaching 5 th & 6 th grade girls and volunteer. Rosalind believes it is important to plant the seed of the Word of God early in the hearts and minds of the next generation. The Kingdom of God belongs to them as it does to adults. Jesus reminds us in Mark 10:14, “...Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for such belongs the Kingdom of God.” Rosalind has two adult children and in her free time enjoys traveling, various sports, and academics.
